Are you confident with your smile?

Your smile can say so much about you. It can light up a room, offer support and warmth, and invite others to approach you. Smiling is a universal language.

At Centre Street Dental, we can help design a custom treatment plan that is unique to you, your lifestyle, and your oral health.

Dr Greg Normoyle and appreciate that not all patients want the same things and that everyone has different time frames and dental flaws, which is why we work together to find the right solution for you.

We often find that cosmetic dentistry is a harmonious blend of science and art. We want all our patients to have strong and healthy smiles, but we can also focus on creating natural-looking dental restorations that will help remove any worries you may have with your appearance.

The Benefits of Cosmetic Dentistry

At Centre Street Dental, we take many variables into account when it comes to cosmetic treatments. Your cosmetic dentists will consider your facial contours, size and shape of your teeth, your gums, and other dental features that impact your overall look.

Our Casino, NSW dental practice enjoys helping to change our patient’s lives positively. The best part of what we do involves watching our patients take a look in the mirror after a cosmetic dental procedure and being pleased with what they see.

While general and preventive dentistry is dentistry that patients need, cosmetic dentistry is dentistry that people may want to feel more confident and self-assured. Dr Greg Normoyle use modern dental equipment and technology to introduce a smile you can be proud of.

Frequently Asked Questions

A cancer diagnosis is a very challenging episode in anyone’s life and confronting the whole treatment process can be daunting. Thinking about how your diagnosis can affect your mouth can be a little way down the list of priorities and that is very understandable.

However, maintaining regular appointments with your dentist both during and after your initial treatment is really important and this regardless of the type of cancer that you have been diagnosed with. All cancer treatment can have significant impacts on a person’s mouth.

This is because most cancer treatment has a ‘drying’ effect on the mouth. What does this mean? Well, these treatments can lead to a reduction in the amount of saliva that is produced in the mouth. Saliva is THE most important thing for tooth and gum health. Less saliva means that your mouth has less ability to stay healthy regardless of how well your brushing and flossing routine is at home.

At Centre Street Dental, we recommend that if you have had a cancer diagnosis, it is important to make your dentist part of your overall ‘cancer treatment’ team. We invite you to call us for an appointment should you require any further information.

Occlusal guards or splints are used to protect the teeth in people who clench or grind their teeth. They are made of a hard plastic/acrylic and are custom made at Centre Street Dental. Dr Greg Normoyle recommend that patients wear their splints at night to protect their teeth whilst they are sleeping. Patients are also encouraged to wear their splint if they are working alone in front of a computer or any other time during the day when they don’t need to chat to anyone.

Splints do not stop people from grinding. However, a well-made splint will protect the teeth from further harm as well as reducing the often associated jaw muscle pain. If you think that you may need an occlusal guard/splint call us at Centre Street Dental for an appointment.

Chipped and worn teeth are often unsightly and can lead to a genuine lack of self confidence. The causes of chipping and wearing are varied and as such there are a range of treatments available. Small chips can usually be repaired by some simple bonding procedures.

Sometimes the teeth are not aligned properly and this can lead to unusual wear patterns in the teeth. At Centre Street Dental, our Invisalign Go system may be able to be used to realign the teeth prior to reshaping and restoring the teeth with bonding or porcelain veneers. If the wear is severe, then more extensive reconstructive work may be necessary.

At Centre Street Dental, we believe that it is important that our patients should know all of the available options and the pro’s and con’s of each of these options. It is only then that a truly informed decision can be made.

If you would like to know more about the options available for you, please book in for a consultation appointment with Dr Greg Normoyle.
